We open with an older man sitting in bed eating, when a women comes in, who has terrible aim, and tries to stab him. She manages to slice his hand in half before, finally, stabbing him in the neck, but he doesn't die. The women leaves the room and comes back with a frying pan and flings the contents in his face, then hits him over the head with the pan several times, but still he doesn't die. She then sits down on the bed next to him and tells him that she has been poisoning him since last year and he should have died by now. He asks why and she tells him that she was watching the news that morning, and realized that time was running out. She crawls in bed next to him, and as he finally dies, she says that she is sorry, it was going to be better but they ran out of time. The camera then pans to the white curtains as the slowly turn red.
